Irish Senior Women’s Team Nominated for Outstanding Achievement Award

We are delighted to announce that the Irish Senior Women’s Dragon Boat Team have been nominated for the Carlow Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Achievements in 2016. The Irish team’s training ground is the scenic River Barrow in Carlow Town, plus the team has 16 women from the Carlow Dragon Boat Club in it.
Councillor Fintan Phelan, Mayor of the Carlow Municipal District will be holding the Mayor’s Awards Reception in Carlow Town Hall this coming Friday and the team have been duly invited along to accept their award.
IDBA Chairman, Julie Doyle said “On behalf of the team, we are absolutely delighted to be accepting this award. Dragon boating is at last getting the recognition it deserves”.

17th EDBF European Club Crew Championships – Divonne-Les-Bains, France

All Irish Club Crews are invited to attend the 17th EDBF European Club Crew Championships which are to be held in Divonne-Les-Bains, France. However your entry must first be sanctioned by the Irish Dragon Boat Association.

EDBF Extra Ordinary Congress – November 2016 – Summary
