The Athy Dragon Boat Regatta WILL be going ahead as planned on Sunday, 3rd May 2015. The weather forecast for tomorrow is much improved on today’s with cloud and sunshine and a barmy 12 degrees! There may be a possibility of a light shower during the day.

Today’s heavy rain is due to subside overnight and due to the recent very low levels on the River Barrow the course should not be in a state of flood. Normally heavy rain does not effect this section of the Barrow for 2-3 days after.

Having said all this it is better to BE PREPARED for bad weather.

European Sport Tourism Awards 2015

Fingers crossed everyone.
