Wishing teams from Carlow Dragon Boat Club Kilkenny Aqua Canoe Club and Plurabelle Paddlers the best of luck as they compete in the 29th Prague Dragon Boat Festival at Žluté lázně on the Vltava River this weekend in the Czech Republic.![]()

The clubs will first compete on Saturday in the small boats over 200m and 1000m. Then on Sunday they race in the standard boat over 200m and 2K. Bring it on! Czech Dragon Boat Association - Česká asociace dračích lodí
Reminder: Closing date for entries to the Barrow DBR is Wednesday, 27th May 2026. The event will be 500m racing.![]()

Saturday past saw us in Castlebar, Mayo delivering a helm course for the Graine Mhaol DBC and Medb's Dragon Warriors. Good to catch up with a few familiar faces. We had a lovely sunny day, but the biting northerly wind meant we had to wrap up.
